After his time as a Trenton PEER, Mr. López interned for Urban Promise Trenton as the Junior Street Leader Coordinator. In his short time, his role was to teach bible study classes to Trenton children ages 7-13 and provide personal development opportunities for middle school students. Mr. López also spent time working for the Employment Network Team of NJ,  headquartered in Trenton, NJ. Working as an Intern Coordinator and Employment Specialist, Mr. López worked with high school students with disabilities, helping them to gain work experience before graduating.
