Redevelopment Project Coordinator
The Housing Authority of the City of Trenton, New Jersey, is looking for a highly organized and self-motivated candidate for the position of Redevelopment Project Coordinator. The Redevelopment Project Coordinator reports directly to the Redevelopment Director and will be responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring housing, neighborhood, and community revitalization projects, programs and services. Account Clerk
Trenton Housing Authority is looking for a dedicated individual for our Account Clerk position. This individual will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for a variety of clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting tasks of moderate difficulty and complexity. The work includes computing, classifying, verifying, and recording numerical data and reconciling accounts, records, and documents to ensure that accounting and financial records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with applicable regulations pertaining to such records. This individual should also be able to identify and suggest the implementation of process and system enhancements to continuously improve operations, be willing to accept work outside the normal scope of responsibilities, must be able to work with minimal supervision, have sufficient latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, work under pressure and interact professionally with management, staff, and residents. An associate degree in accounting or business administration and a minimum of (3) three years of experience in the preparation, maintenance, and/or review and verification of financial records. Maintenance Repairer
Trenton Housing Authority is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Maintenance Repairer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintenance and repair of THA property, including reconditioning of vacant units for occupancy, and completion of work orders involving basic painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs and other related tasks. This individual may also be responsible for after-hour and emergency on-call coverage. The position requires that the applicant possess a High School diploma or GED, and a minimum of two (2) years experience in the repair and maintenance of residential properties or construction services. A low-pressure boiler operator license is preferred. A valid New Jersey driver’s license is required. Candidates who wish to be considered for this position will also be required to pass a basic maintenance aptitude test.

Asset Manager
The Housing Authority of the City of Trenton, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the Asset Manager position. This position reports directly to the Director of Housing Operations and is responsible for the operation of one or more Asset Management Projects (AMPs) with a combined unit count of up to 750 units. The Asset Manager performs administrative and supervisory work related to the operation of affordable rental housing developments owned and/or managed by Trenton Housing Authority (THA). The work includes, but is not limited to supervising management, maintenance, and clerical staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures related to effective asset management, preparing strategic plans and performance reports , managing waitlist, completing income certifications and re-certifications, performing unit inspections, accepting and processing work orders including follow-up, managing extermination and pest control programs, enforcing leases and house rules, coordinating life and safety inspections; and referring residents to THA’s Resident and Community Services Department and social service providers. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in social services, public administration or a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years in public housing management, affordable housing management, real estate property management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license and be insurable under THA’s plan.
